Remote notarization removes travel time and lets an eligible signer connect from a private location with reliable internet. Same-day completion is possible only when Kayse is available and the document, signer, technology, and recipient requirements are ready.
Do not sign before the session. For jurats and other acts requiring live signature, keep the signature line blank until Kayse instructs you during the appointment.

Fill the appointment-request form and note the deadline in the message. Include document type, signer location, and whether the recipient accepts remote notarization.

Kayse reviews the request and confirms whether same-day remote notarization is possible for the document and available schedule.

Platform support

Signer location
Signer must be in a location where remote notarization is permitted under applicable law.
Document readiness
Document is complete, unsigned, and in a digital format (PDF, DOC, etc.).
Identification
Signer has current government‑issued photo ID supported by BlueNotary’s identity verification.
Witnesses (if required)
Any required witnesses are available to join the live video session.

Lakebound does not add rush, same‑day, evening, or weekend surcharges. The standard BlueNotary platform pricing applies:

- Additional stamp — $8

- BlueNotary witness service — $10
Michigan law caps the fee Kayse may charge at $10 per notarial act. The platform checkout includes that fee and BlueNotary’s service costs. Your exact total is shown before payment.
